Deeper than deep tissue ... Heavenly
The ancient technique in which a trained therapist walks on a client’s body, often using support bars to vary pressure and weight.
Ashiatsu is an ancient type of massage therapy traditionally practiced in Asia. Modified for today’s clients and practiced around the world, Ashiatsu is a type of massage therapy that utilizes the therapist’s feet to provide pressure and weight. Also known as Barefoot Shiatsu, this method is primarily used to focus on a client’s pressure points. To avoid causing injury to the client, Ashiatsu practitioners must undergo advanced training.
The Ashiatsu practitioner then walks across the client’s back using their feet to target known pressure points.
Depending on the therapist, a support bar may be used to vary pressure and weight.
Traditionally performed in China and Japan, the Ashiatsu massage is used by those who practice a whole-body approach to wellness. Based on traditional Chinese medicine teachings, Ashiatsu was constructed by a culture that believes energy flows through life via meridians; to experience harmony, there must be balance between energy originating from the heavens (Yang) and energy from the earth (Yin).
The Ashiatsu technique connects with clients by creating a totally relaxed and zen-like state.

LET'S TALK ABOUT STRESS RELIEF
Who doesn't want to reduce the stress in their life? Stress relief is key to finding the balance of a healthy lifestyle. Even a single massage session has been shown to significantly lower heart rate, cortisol and insulin levels - all of which help reduce daily stress.
LET'S FORCE THE ISSUE...OF RELAXATION
How often and how long are you actually able to disconnect from life? Massage has been shown to help the body enter a relaxing rest-and-recovery mode - an effect that lingers long after the massage is over.
SIT UP AND TAKE NOTICE...OF YOUR POSTURE
Unlike other bad habits, poor posture can help be corrected by relaxation. Massage helps reinforce healthy and natural movements, which can get your posture back on track.
BREATHE IN. BREATHE DEEPLY.
One of the telltale signs of anxiety and stress is constricted breathing. Massage can play an important role in relieving respiratory issues and training the body how to relax.
